Vineyard Expansion April - May 2007

Last fall I had placed an order with Double A Vineyards for more grape vines. In April - May 2007, I expanded the current vineyard from 3 rows to 13 rows. I also installed 30" blue grow tubes, as you can see in the photos. These grow tubes help the vines to grow quicker and also protects them from insects, small animals and pesticides. The varieties that were planted are -
Red - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Lemberger
White - Sauvignon Blanc, St. Pepin, Seyval Blanc, Vidal
