Mulberry Creek Vineyard

Mulberry Creek Vineyard is a small vineyard in the making - this blog will show you, the general public, how empty land is developed into a small, productive vineyard in north-central Alabama. We are not producing wine here, just growing the grapes. Wine production happens at other wineries instead.

I found one dead vine

The dead vine is a Cabernet Sauvignon Variety. All others are growing hapilly along. Only 6 out of the 100 I planted this spring have yet to pop their little leaves above the top of the grow tubes as of tonight's observations.

To me, that is very good, considering I ordered and planted 100 vines this past Spring, all from Double A Vineyards.

Now comes the fun of putting in metal T-Posts for the Trellis System.
