Vineyard with Electric Fence Around it Now!
It is hard to see, but the posts below with the yellow tabs on them contain 2 strands of electric fence line, intended to keep cows and deer out of the vineyard. In the coming weeks I will be adding 2 planters in front of the fence on the gravel drive side and also add a smaller chicken wire fence around the inside of the bottom of the fence to keep smaller 4-legged critters out.
The stump you see here was a tree located next to my metal shed. I had to remove the tree because it was holding 2 rows in shade most of the day.
Here you can see the first row (on the right) that I planted 2 yrs ago, along with the 2 rows of English Grapes that I do not know the name of.

These 3 photos above show how the grow tubes have really helped the vines to grow. Currently, as of this writing, only 10-12 vines have not popped their leafy heads above the top of the grow tube. Note: the grow tubes are each 30" tall. Most vines you see show a growth of 4 to 18 inches above the top of the grow tube. Each vine has been given 1.5 to 2 gallons of water every 3-4 days until recently, when for about the last week we have had rains almost daily.
The double posts you see here on the left side represent the gate thru which I get into the vineyard. In front of this side will be two raised planter beds built out of railroad ties, one to the right of the gat and the other one to the left of the gate.
